HOT DOGS

Waiting outside Sainsbury's for their owner. I wished I'd been able to do that instead of shopping.

Extra is a wren that tried to fly through Mum's garage but then found the light at the other end was a window. It managed to find its way out without getting too distressed. As an illustration of Bede's "Sparrow In the Mead Hall" analogy*, it was much closer to my experience of real life, with its unexpected impediments!

*"The sparrow, flying in at one door and immediately out at another, whilst he is within, is safe from the wintry tempest, but after a short space of fair weather, he immediately vanishes out of your sight, passing from winter to winter again. So this life of man appears for a little while, but of what is to follow or what went before we know nothing at all.”

I've backblipped yesterday.
