Garden Makeover ....

... construction complete! It is very impressive and I've walked up the steps and along the top path a few times collecting the cabbage tree leaves which have fallen during recent winds. If we have a few dry days I'm hoping to move some pots onto the new bed to add some temporary colour and am thinking of prospective plants for Spring and Summer!

Started emptying the holiday backpacks this morning and put first load of washing into the machine. My washing machine is 26 years old now and has worked very hard, sadly today it decided to have a strop, I think the pump has packed in. I had to empty the drum by hand, making the floor very wet, then rinsed the washing by hand. Thankfully the rain had stopped by early afternoon so the washing has been out blowing in the wind. Have just seen the weather forecast and will have to dash outside to get the washing before next bout of rain.

Thank you to everyone who has visited over the last few days, for your encouraging words, kind comments and stars. Apologies for not replying and for not visiting your journals, I'm slightly out of sync at the moment...... x
