If you can't beat them...

Blueberry Cheesecake.

In the 45 years or so I have known her Clickychick has never shown any signsa of liking Hydrangeas, the suddenly on Wednesday she was in love with them.  The result we came home with a fine example of a Lacecap Hydrangea.  In case you haven't guessed the variety is known as Blueberry Cheesecake.

The shot is a multiple exposure made up of 5 separate shots.  The structure with the large flowers round the outside and the small contrasting ones in the middle seemed to suggest a multiple expose. Lacecap Hydrangeas are a variation of Hydrangea macrophylla more commonly seen as the "mophead" form.  Originally native to Japan.
