Wonderment!

I am not too sure what had caught Abigail’s eye but here she is a short time after arriving having travelled up today on the train from London.

Our little Texan granddaughter had investigated the den I had created and the painted tractor tyre full of earth to play in. She had tried out the swing and already had dirty knees and hands - she is loving the cool temperature and didn’t seem to mind the light drizzle of rain after putting up with the heat of Texas in recent weeks.

I think we are going to have fun for the next 4 weeks ! She did tell her granny she wasn’t here for 4 weeks- it was a month !
