Creek and paddle

This terrific raft was pulled up safe on the beach. The adjacent burn really is far too small but there's plenty of sea out there to practice paddling for when a bigger creek comes along.

Today has been spent on various errands: dog walk, tip, quick visit to collect something, shop, P.O., washing, weeding ... just finally brought the washing in and the sun has finally broken through.

Very low cloud most of the day, but none of the projected thunderstorms. LH is out to golf this evening with his trolley of lightning rods ... He has spent a lot of the day on his knees praying to the pineapple weed as he delicately removes it from the newly sown lawn. Bloody stuff!
