Another walk with Gus

Look carefully and you will see a red-headed lady and a collie disappearing up the track. We took the footpath that follows the long dismantled Arnside to Heversham railway line along this deep cutting through the village of Storth. The destination was the Ship Inn at Sandside where Gus made more friends through his good looks and friendliness. We keep wondering how no-one else spotted his potential before he came to us 6 days ago. But then it was Gus that chose Wifie in the first and second instances.

At this rate I could rename this journal "A walk with Gus".

Eduardo headed home today, the Xmas decorations have come down, and I'm back to work tomorrow. The festive season is over and the new year has properly begun. Highlight of the day will be the new Africa series with David Attenborough.
