Taking Flight

I am in awe of bird photographers and have real problems catching a bird in flight.
This kookaburra was hanging around at the farm and I got several pics of it sitting on posts. They are so friendly I had to get Mr isbi to encourage it to fly off. It does make it a bit easier to get a shot.

The other thing that always amazes me is the different configuration the wings take during flight, only captured with a photograph. 
Hard to believe this is the same bird.
