Shetland Boat Week 2019

A breezy day, some sunny spells this morning, but mostly overcast and mist hanging around since.

I've been working on the museum desk all day, and it's been a really busy day.  There was a small cruise ship in Lerwick.  A lazy evening around the house, and some walkies with Sammy before I head to work in the pub later.

Shetland Boat Week started yesterday, and I heard it was a busy day, and it was again today.  It's been great to have loads of locals in and about the museum, and a great range of ages too.  The week is packed with bairns crafts and games, workshops, talks, boat trips, cooking and much more.  Being boat week, everything is has a maritime theme.  Here's the Vaila May sixareen coming in after a trip out with passengers.  Taken at Hay's Dock, Lerwick.
