A bit of colour

I have just a few blooms on my Gaura plant in the front garden and I have a late bloom on my small Hydrangea plant in the front garden as well.

I sat outside this morning and managed to get some good photos of the Hummingbirds (see extra) but when the heat index reached 97ºF/36ºC, I just couldn't handle it anymore and had to come inside.

I was soaking wet, so it was time for a cool shower and a short nap to allow my body to recover.
