Andy Holden

I met up with former Chester player Andy Holden for a chat today. He is one of my all time favourite players who also played for Wigan and Oldham and was a full Wales international. A wholehearted defender who was hugely popular with the fans I remember him scoring with a header from the edge of the 18 yard box which takes some doing.

After retiring from playing he was a coach at Everton for many years as well as Hibernian (one for thechimp).
