Filling the Frame

Abstract Thursday: Filling the Frame

A straight out of the camera abstract, helped somewhat by the construction company helpfully painting black frames on the building they are working on ....

Thursday night is the night that a group of us meet in the village for Beer On A Thursday.  The BOAT club have been somewhat disappointed by the beers on offer in the local village pubs of late and have agreed that we should walk the mile across the fields to a neighbouring village that has an excellent pub.  Unfortunately it is due to rain this evening, but undeterred the 6 of us are busy looking out our waterproofs and walking boots at this very minute, with a view to setting off shortly.

It reminds me of a very old (1987) TV adverert for Poacher's Bitter here in the UK which featured the lines "I've never known a night like it" and the follow on "... and I'm not looking forward to the journey home neither".  Fortunately we only have to walk a mile or so across fields up a hill, we're not crossing the Municipal Boating Pond this time.  This link will make all clear.
