Happy Hols!

Mum back on her childhood holiday patch of Cellardyke, Fife - this on the festooned main street. We found the house her family used to rent and the rocks it backed onto, where she, her sister, Ella, and curtesy cousin, Isabel, would scramble (see extras, along with a few more for the family, if you are interested).

We started off in Crail at the Honeypot B&B, went along to Crail Kirk where Dd and I tied the knot, then out to the golf course for the first time, before finding a tiny coastal road along to Cellardyke. An ice cream in Ansthruther followed, then a quick dive into Pittenweem (its art festival severely restricted parking possibilities even for disabled parking badge holders like Mum). We returned to Busboy's home in Glenrothes as Mum wanted to leave a little something for his grandkids. We figured out I could carry back his birthday pressie for Dd and thus save him a lot of postage. Then we headed west with a stop in our home town of Paisley (my, how poor the High Street and centre has become . . . a grand town gone to wrack and ruin).

We finished off with beans on toast at home in Largs with an incredible sunset . . . can't believe the forecast is for storms.
