21st anniversary

What a wonderful day!

21 years ago we got married at Richmond Registry Office and by complete coincidence our dear friends have moved over from Australia and are living in what used to be the registry office, the living room is the room in which we tied the knot!
They offered to throw us a gathering, we wanted to keep it quite small and intimate and there were only about 30 people there including our families.

Those present
Max and I
Gulliver and Erin, Zebedee and Victoria.
Lola and boyfriend Dean
My sister Alexandra and daughter Thea
Kevin and Rachael, Lauryn and Kaitlyn
Simone and Nik Bizzell Browning
My brother Thomas
Karen Sharman
Roger Browning
Jock Robertson
Frank and Alison Noon
Phil Marriott and Jeremy Kimberly
Stewie and Lee
Cam and Bryan
Kate and Tim Parsons
Emma and Jon Lynch
Sally and Rick Freeman
Nanny Jaydi whose birthday it also was.

I got changed into my wedding dress which sometime ago was modified into a stage outfit and walked into the living room where all our guests were assembled, Lauryn Sided over renewing our vows and did an absolutely brilliant job, then Karen played a Mr and Mrs game with Max and I had to raise a shoe if we thought we right answer, followed by a quiz put together by Max and I for our friends to see who knew us the best with surprising results, it was all very funny indeed.

I got changed into something more comfortable, our friends had hired caterers who built a little street stall in the garden and cooked Paellas! They were absolutely delicious.
Everybody brought wine, Prosecco and champagne, Emma and Rachel had provided cheeses and biscuits and deserts, Emma even making vegan meringue.

Phil Marriott played a fantastic DJ set, mainly 80s and 90s tunes on DJ decks that our friends had hired for the evening.

Then we had a jam for about an hour and a half, Frank on makeshift drums found Phil Marriott played a fantastic DJ set, mainly 80s and 90s tunes on DJ decks that our friends had hired for the evening.

Then we had a jam for about an hour and a half, Frank on makeshift drums made from kitchen equipment, they have a piano there and both Nik and Tim played it, Tim also played the fiddle, Kaitlyn played ukulele and Gulli played guitar, my brother also played guitar, Erin, Lee and I did lead vocals and everybody else joined in the choruses, such a joyous day.

Simone, Nick and Tom stayed over which was lovely.

We feel so loved and supported by our fantastic friends and family
