Ferry Across the Mersey

After arriving in Liverpool by train, we were soon leaving again making the most of of the sunshine, on a ferry across the Mersey. Alighting in Birkenhead, we had a walk along the waterfront, lunch, explore Hamilton Square and then got the train back to Liverpool.  The highlight of the day was a trip to The World Museum to see the Astronomy photography exhibition, well worth a look if you're over that way.
