Staycation Day 2

Today we continued our vacation at home. It was SUPPOSED to be a warm and sunny day, but when we were almost at the sourdough bakery, it started to rain cats and dogs and mum had to stop driving because it wasn’t safe.

Once we arrived, however, the rain stopped and we could sit outside together and enjoy a grilled tomato sandwich and blueberry cheesecake. We then drove to the Göta kanal locks, where we walked up and down, watching boats climb the locks. We had to run back to the car to avoid a second shower.

And then - wait for it - we went to the Italian Gelato place and shared ice cream! Strawberry and mandarin sorbet. Yay!
