Red Rocks Open Space

I met a friend here this morning for a brisk hike and a nice catch up. This photo makes it look like no one else was there, but the trails were quite busy with walkers, hikers, runners, and mountain bikers. We were all eager to get out and enjoy the morning before the onset of our afternoon storms. I don't mind the rain, because it makes me slow down and rest, and I certainly enjoy how green everything is this late in the summer.
