On the train

There were a lot of choices on the breakfast table this morning. I took everything freshly baked, a handful of blueberries, a banana and then I had had enough. A festive breakfast.

I went by train to my niece. She's in between chemotherapy and at home. She had baked a buttercake especially for me and when we tasted it she told about the coming hospitalisation, the care of her dogs and her job. It's a lot to handle, but she is very confident.

After my crisscrossing the country, I sat down for a late dinner. Bert had bought egg rolls at the Chinese restaurant
