St Werburgh’s City Farm

A less windy morning but with a fresher feel.
Before we went out Chris and Eda were busy playing with the train set, a pass me down for her cousins, a weekend of transport.
Then we headed down to St Werburgh to the City Farm. Eda loves it here, especially the goats. On the way, past the allotments Chris was picking blackberries and she was eating them and demanding ‘more’!
Grace bought some goat and sheep food pellets and here you can see her feeding the goats before they were taken to be milked.
There was a large sow and quite a number of piglets. Ducks, hens and baby Turkeys!
There was a sharp shower but we were able to take shelter.
When we got back John had made us a lovely lunch.

We’re home now after another joyous motorway journey. A 45 minute holdup for an accident near Worcester.
That aside we’ve had a great few days despite the weather and cancellations. Probably won’t see Eda now until her birthday -2! How can that be?
