Had a super lovely day out in London for my sort-of-birthday treat. Early start to catch an early bus, then headed straight for the Tate and Van Gogh.

We didn’t realise it was the last week of the exhibition so it was the busiest I’ve ever seen it, and we had to queue for entry which I can’t remember ever doing! It was brilliant though, and Matt loved it too.

Ate our lunch outside in the sun, then went in all the other exhibitions before walking along the South Bank to the Modern. Stopped for a drink in The Founders Arms before we went in, then gave up with the standing up and went for another drink at The Anchor.

Dinner at Gourmet Pizza before we headed back to Victoria. I napped most of the bus journey home.
