Monday: Samphire at Red Wharf Bay

The geese woke me at 6am as they flew over our house on their way inland after sleeping near the beach. Sunshine all day too ... 2 lots of washing dried outdoors.
I’ve promised a friend some samphire so I walked down to the beach at lunchtime and collected a small bag full. Most of the green in today’s blip is samphire, don’t think I’ve ever seen it like this, see extra too ...
Did over 5000 steps before lunch ...
Gorgeous smell of haymaking as I walked up the hill from the beach.
Watched Jonathan Creek whilst I had lunch, lazy afternoon - between chores!
MrD on deliveries this week too.
