Shrinking Boy

It happened that the Festival show we went to at the museum was not a success and we left when it had hardly started - I'm sure it was most entertaining for most children but, despite reassurances, the Flumlet was really unhappy with the flames and explosions with which the show opened.
Next to the auditorium is a children's area called Imagine, with set pieces that challenge perception and imagination, including wooden shapes and blocks, percussion instruments, and these distortion mirrors.
The Flumlet cheered up instantly and engaged with a variety of activities, especially a demonstration of the Hare and the Tortoise, so we all came home in a happier frame of mind.
