I went for my first decent ride of the year today - 55 miles round the mid-Essex lanes. Its great cycling country and yes - there are a few hills!

The relatively small bits of inundation were easy to negotiate. I found my thoughts were with the poor people who have been flooded out of their homes. We have it soft in the South East.
