Porlock Bay

Today we headed over the Moor to Dulverton for lunch and a mooch . They have a wonderful gallery cum bookshop there called ‘Number 7’ and I was able to purchase a beautiful copy of ‘ Tarka the Otter ‘ as I’ve just been reading an excellent book about otters called ‘ Otter Country ‘ by Miriam Darlington and she refers to Henry Williamson’s book frequently. I also succumbed to Adam Nicolson’s new book ‘The Making of Poetry’ .
This evening we spent some time with my lovely friend Jeff Cox at Porlock.
