Happy new year

A day out to the street party in Pitlochry today.

As usual, when we visit this lovely little place, we parked near the bottom end of town and walked around the dam. Well, we cross the river on the suspension footbridge and up the fish ladder, across the dam and into town.

The sheer amount of water tearing through the sluice (I believe this to be a water-level relief sluice) and firing up into the air was amazing!
