Broken !

Teeth and tiles.

The tiles, two of them, came pounding off the scullery wall, as Mom sat down , to post-Church tea.

There were NO tears.

Just, irritation.  A badly done job, 25 plus years in the making.

The "tooth", it came out, during lunch................ and there were tears, lots of them.  Mom wasn't crying for the tooth, per se, but the fact, that it is THE SAME tooth, she just had "fixed".

The original tooth, was a victim of the hijacking.

The tears.....it's a gaping hole, you cannot miss and the medical aid rules, preclude any further "work" on it, for at least 6 months.

Let's hope this rule has some wiggle room - broken smiles are not endearing.

PS : On the plus side,  one of the tiles, made the trip down, intact - it's fall was cushioned by the orchid.  Who for the record, survived the trauma, unscathed.  So, on paper at least, the tile can be put back.
