British Lisianthus

We have had the rain from the North today. The ducks loved it. See extra.

A very good friend came to visit today. She brought this beautiful bouquet of flowers that I had not heard of. The Latin name is eustoma russellianum and it originated in North America.

When the rain ceased at 5pm I had a quick  walk around the garden and got four ripe figs from the fig tree and collected some fallen apples for stewing . The ducks seemed very happy following Ian around as he changed their water troughs and  ponds and created more mud.
