Nearly finished painting the roof - however there's no thoughts of bidding on a well known rail bridge.

Meantime the stifling crowds of Stromness proved too much for Lady F and she caught the mid-day cargo boat to Hoy. Davey, the skipper, told us later that on boarding LF said '...you can't beat a cruise'. She dined at the Captain's table; there was no sign of the captain.

Once ashore, and after struggling out of her Mae West, we had a snack at the Hoy Café (the proprietor searched LF's bag for cutlery). We then went through to Rackwick.
