It was the first sunny day for a while so my outdoor day started picking first bilberries, then wild strawberries for breakfast. While doing that I noticed the bees and butterflies all over the oregano and the sea holly (blue thistles). Hence today's blip of the white-tailed bumblebee.
Every year the 15 August is the day our town's film studio cards go on sale. 10 excellent films for 300kr, about £25. They sell around 600 cards and to be sure of getting one you need to be buying your card on the 15th, or early on the 16th. After that they are sold out. We have ours now!
While on the subject of films we were down the County Museum today who are showing one film a day this week. The films are aimed at a young audience (school starts back next week) but adults are welcome too. Today it was Charlie Chaplin's "The Kid". It's the first time I've seen it in its entirety and it's also lovely to see it on a big screen.
