Setting Up

Today was our orienteering club’s day to help and we were working on download where people come at the end of the run to see how quick they have been. The event was at the east end of Loch Earn and the assembly was in a lovely spot near the golf course just underneath the area where we were running. We had to be there early but as the first finisher doesn’t het in until gone 10:00, I had time to wander about to get a blip. This is the finish gantry having essential wires fixed on it for the commentary and TV that was being produced as part of the event. The orienteering was great although I made a horrible error by going up the wrong rentrant and lost more than 10 minutes. As it was a middle distance course that meant I blew any chance of a good run.
