FlowerFriday16_2019 Gladioli

This morning was Mr MC's second attempt to get to Lords, this time with a very longstanding friend of ours, and this time success!  At least for part of the day: the rain began again early afternoon and by 1pm the day's play was over.  There will be a 50% refund for today, but of course they would rather have watched cricket.
I spent the morning doing household chores and this afternoon I found a moment to photograph this week's supermarket flowers, these cheerful gladioli.  This evening we are having an Indian takeaway.  I certainly know how to live on the edge...
