Chalton church

I had a lovely blipmeet with Paola today, looking at the little village churches of the Hampshire downs.
We started at the pretty church of St Hubert's in Idsworth, a beautiful little church high on the downs, up a broad grass path between two fields. Sadly today it was clad in scaffolding and the farmer was muck spreading in the surrounding fields! See Extra.
Having cleaned our shoes we went on to this little gem St Michael and all Angels. Charlton. Again a very pretty church with a lovely churchyard full of wild flowers. Even better there was a lovely pub opposite where we had a very yummy lunch. Sadly it started to rain over lunch, and was so bad that we had to abandon our day out :-(
