Budding Beauty

We don't have many roses in the garden so I was pleased to see this one still had lots of buds which may open, weather permitting.  It was mainly dry all day, but it is lashing down again now so the rain has not finished with us yet:-)

We drove in to Perth this afternoon about 2.30 pm and got caught up in a huge traffic jam.  We assumed there must have been an accident, but it appeared to be just the sheer volume of traffic on a Friday afternoon.  Does nobody work a full day any more on a Friday?  A similar jam on the way ome, but at least it was 4.30 and more understandable!
