St. James's Park: Ross's Goosing

More shocking in large.

Im and I visited the Ross'sling (and kin) at St. James's Park; she's looking so much like her mother now (very similar in size, and now with her adult primaries and pink feet), but she still doesn't have clipped wings and had cause to show off her prowess in the air in a little escape flight from this menacing greylag (in a squabble over bread) while the Ross'skin just had to goose step away...
We also saw a bunch of confident little (young) rats poking about in the grass and chasing the squirrels around.

Today's others start on this page (or right from Ross'sling framed by parents)
