Looking north up the Tay

Today we were orienteering on Craig a’Barns, the first area to be used for orienteering in Scotland and a rough and complex place. I was really looking forward to my course as there was a new area added to the north. The rough terrain and complex forest tends to level the playing field between runners and navigators. As I am firmly in the latter group I hoped for a decent result. How wrong I was; my course was mainly in the rough, open moorland with absolutely no challenge to find the controls. I went cleanly to them all and had my worst result of the week. The view north from the parking field was the second best of the week as it looked north up the Tay.

Yesterday’s blip.
