Your army needs you

A well-placed bus on the road behind the Extinction Rebellion camp which had sprung up on Blackheath yesterday.

Had a very relaxed morning - still fighting off the lurgy.  After lunch, Tim fitted my new puncture-resistant tyres on my bike, and gave it a good clean, too.  What a labour of love!  Of course, I had to take it out for a ride after that, so pedalled over to the park, paused for a while on the heath to hear what was being said (bit of an odd man from Mauritius on the stage talking about how trees feel different to touch when there's a storm coming and they're friightened....), then cycled and walked all round the new 'Kidbrooke Village'  - a massive complex of new Berkeley Homes flats and houses, with some now impressively established planting all around - and then all round the Cator Estate, too.

Back home for leftover Chinese and another easy evening.
