Boat ride on the Garbonne

Birthday day - and a lovely one I have enjoyed...... Croissants for a late breakfast, a stroll down to the river, a boat ride on the Garbonne followed by a stroll around the city so the little ones could enjoy some play time, lots of g&t and then dinner....... Just what one needs for a birthday.
A glorious day - and so warm/hot! Toulouse is a lovely town and so clean - love it. It is called the 'la Ville rose'  city - so many wonderful 'pink/reddish' buildings.  The extra shows the roof top view from my bedroom window...
