Carcassonne

What a beautiful place this is..... We travelled down there this morning and enjoyed a lovely day wandering the very over crowded streets.  Took a guided tour - in Spanish so I did not understand much but Simon translated the important bits for me.  Then we had an afternoon's entertainment at a jousting tournament - in French - which was such fun. Beautiful horses showing off their wonderful skills.  Loved it.  A super day.  We took this shot of the castle on our way home. There were just so many people inside that getting a clean shot of anything was almost impossible.
