a lifetime burning

Moment from an explosion

As this cosmos shows, there is quire a bit of pollen still around despite the grass pollen season nearly being over. Certainly I've been noticing it today, and the box of tissues has not been far away throughout.  The Met Office comments that while weed pollen is only a moderate risk there is a more significant risk from airborne fungal spores.  So I'm guessing that they are the cause of my discomfort. :-)

It is back to the coalface of work tomorrow, after my week's holiday.  I can't say that the thought of work fills me with any great feeling of joy, still this time next year I will be living a life of leisure as a retired person all being well, so I shall just knuckle down and get on with it.
