Wanderings & Witterings

Rowan

Leading worship down in Wishaw this morning, followed by a lazy Sunday afternoon. Finally found the energy and inclination to go out for a walk in the late afternoon - the facts that it had stopped raining and the wind had dropped a bit were contributory factors in this decision, to be fair.

Over to Chacefield Wood, near Denny, where I began by exploring some of the lesser-used paths before joining the main path around the wood. The rowan trees were bedecked in red berries - main photo and extras - a sure sign that summer is giving way to autumn.
