BECKY AND MIKE MEET THE ANGEL

Becky and Mike have driven past the Angel Of The North many times but never seen it up close. So this morning we drove out to see it.

Afterwards we had a sandwich and drink for lunch in a coffee shop and then did some shopping - including Asda to stock up on groceries.

Mike made home-made ragu ( took 4 hours to slow cook ) and home made tagliatelle for our evening meal. It was delicious.

Neil arrived home from work at around 10pm and he had his evening meal. Then we had the Annual Quiz. I collect quiz questions throughout the year and when Becky and Mike come up at New Year we have a quiz night. Its become a tradition. Neil joined in this evening and we had great fun.

Becky and Mike are off home tomorrow. They have a long drive ahead of them - about 280 miles. Will probably take them about 5 hours. Its been great having them here - I will miss them when they go.
