Skipper and Pink

These flowers were full of bees. Having just finished reading The Honey Bus, by Meredith May, I was trying to see how they went about their pollen gathering, but I was distracted by the skipper. The book is a wonderful documentary about bees, woven into a tender coming of age story of a young girl and her eccentric beekeeper grandfather.
