Harlequin Willow

This willow has put on 7' of growth this year. I measured it today.

It's the one with the diamond patterned 'trunk', so I know exactly that I cut it down to the beginning of that woven section. An annual comparison would be interesting. This wet and warm summer certainly seems to have suited the trees.
