Tiny Tuesday: Jersey Tiger Moth (I think!)

We enjoyed a very sociable round of golf this morning; I somehow managed to play to handicap, if by a rather roundabout route.

This afternoon we went down to Kate's so I could accompany her to the estate agent's while she made a final offer to buy the flat she's renting. It's now just a question of keeping fingers crossed that her offer will be accepted.

I was just putting the car in the garage when we got back when this moth alighted inside the garage door and rescued you from another golf blip.

A bit of googling suggests this is a Jersey Tiger Moth; as the name suggests it appears they are more common on the Channel Islands but have also settled in South Devon and spread to other southern counties.
