Hidden in the fields

Together with a friend of Sweetheart we sat out today to another old Byzantine Chapel somewhere in the Province of Rethimnon. We knew the name of the village alright, but where to find that particular chapel?! 
Locals sent us on to one direction and then onto another and the third had it right with his directions... we needed to walk the last 100s of metres along a goat-track (see extra) and the little chapel was bigger than I'd expected, with some old icons, but many have gone lost over the ages. 

You bet we had a wonderful day out together!
