j b o'reilly's

Lunch today with the lovely B at a local pub and this is about as 'pubby' in the British/Irish style as there probably is in Perth. With a metal roof and shamrock painted on said roof it is quite a landmark in Cambridge Street.

Chicken and whisky pate served in a little glass pot with cumberland sauce and then moules mariniere and a bottle of Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc.
Not exactly a ploughmans platter and a pint but very delicious and with Irish accents all around, for a couple of hours with not a sight of the bright Australian sunshine outside we may well have been down at a country road 'local'.
