A time for everything

Approaching storm?

Tuesday
We made a last minute decision this evening to go to the concert at Blue Ash Nature Park, as at that point it seemed to be a pleasant evening. The band this evening were called Hot Magnolias, and are a Cincinnati-based, 8 member strong New Orleans style band featuring music ranging from 1920’s traditional jazz favorites to 1970’s funky dance songs. We arrived a little late, but found a space for our chairs, and sat down to enjoy the evening. However, while they were taking a 15 minute break, the skies were getting darker and more threatening, as you see in my blip. They had just started playing again, when there was distant thunder, and so we decided to play it safe and head back to the car. As we drove to our house, we could see the roads were wet, so there had obviously been rain, but it didn’t develop into any more for this evening.
