January Daily Challenge - The view from here

Day 4 of Neet's January daily challenge - The view from here: With many people around the world on holidays, it's a great way to see where people are. Take a picture of your view from where ever you are.

Mondays and Fridays are becoming quite quiet, as many people work shirk from home, the roads are quieter, and the offices are emptier. Add to that the number of people that are on leave or shirking from home this week due to the new year holiday and school holidays and you get this, me alone with the whole floor of office space(apart from the receptionist/security/goods in man - yes one man does all 3 jobs, and he keeps the kitchens stocked with tea, coffee etc, and stacks the dishwasher at various intervals through the day, a true jack of all trades).

Not the best or most accurately done panorama that I've ever done, camera balanced on top of computer monitor to steady it, in landscape format rather than portrait (you get more pixels in portrait mode, so higher resolution) 6 shots, converted from RAW to 16 bit TIF (to help cope with the dynamic range) then stitched together in Panorama Factory. Final image was 10M x 2.5M pixels approximately, reduced down for blip, but still worth looking large.
