Flower Friday : Poppy Meadow

Today contained a walk around Newark Park, and this poppy meadow was nearby. Earlier, (see extra) this common darter insisted on sitting high up in one of our trees, and wouldn't come down to play.

I have no energy today (says the man who's walked a fair few miles up and down hills, and mowed all the grass front and back and middle). I'm feeling a little beyond weird watching the Amazon rainforest burn.

I may have mentioned the push for a law of ecocide from time to time... this is ecocide. It is either deliberately promoted, or condoned or ignored by the ruling classes in South America, and they should be culpable.
