Heather

It is a beautiful day today warm, sunny and bright - and most unusually, we are having a heatwave and sunny weather for the next 5 days which includes Bank Holiday Monday - everyone knows that it usually rains and is horrible on a bank holiday. so it will be different this year.

After some chores at home I took Xena up to the heath and woods for a walk - she can only do a short walk at this stage (5 minutes per month of life) but she is so busy sniffing everything and exploring that it does take longer. She is still very nervous of other dogs but by the third dog we met she was showing signs of interest rather than trying to scramble up my legs! The heather was looking beautiful today in the sunshine - an extra of Xena and the heather.

Gavin gets back from LA late this afternoon and tonight we are going out with friends to dinner at The Ivy - such a treat to be going out! Luke, Meriel and Thomas are babysitting Xena.

Bank Holiday weekend ahead - yay!
