Stamford 7.5 miles....

...all on foot!

It’s been a glorious day! There was a heavy dew first thing though as can be seen on the car cover.

After breakfast we headed into Stamford and wandered around for a couple of hours then we headed to Burghley House. We should have been able to walk through the grounds of the estate from the hotel but preparations are in hand for the horse trials next month so large parts are closed off to the public. We had to take the long route via road...it would probably have been more sensible to have taken the car, I definitely wouldn’t have so many blisters!

Sitting on the patio now drinking Pimms...life is good :)
